Making the Leap~

It finally dawned on me, if I keep waking up each morning, thinking “this job is killing me” as I get ready for work, maybe it’s time to totally rethink WHY I am continuing to stay at that job. Don’t you think?

Sometimes fear and finances can be pretty harsh motivators. Maybe even all the time. But, really – what benefits could possibly come from energizing one’s entire life with fear?

Well, with the recent Oneness Experiences I’ve had (check out www.OnenessNorthAmerica.org for more info, and stay tuned for a few posts about my on-going experiences!) and the general state of peace and underlying joy I have been experiencing, it suddenly became clear that is was time to move on from the aforementioned job.

I am now doing full time what I have been dabbling in, and fully integrating ALL aspects of my life, in the Joy of this approach.

Another delight, surfing in onto this page, the Project for Integrating Spirituality, Law and Politics:

Our mission can be summarized in a single sentence: We seek to transform legal culture, within the United States and internationally, so that law can become a vehicle for creating a loving and caring world.

Thrivability in action!

Thrivability

This is lifted, word for word, from http://www.appropedia.org/Thrivability

It is so delicious, and perfectly presented, I wanted to share it, just as it is:

Thrivability is an abundant and sustainable way of living. Thrivability is sustainability+vision to flourish+ways of being. And by ways of being, means working in open distributed networks with heightened levels of collaboration, and certain quality of something that tends to fall into spirituality loosely. That last one has to do with how we compose ourselves and our work with others, honoring both the whole and the individual in a delicate balance, so we move beyond what spiral dynamics calls the green meme. Thrivability goes beyond sustainability by including social justice. It is not enough to find ways to sustain life and human life on the planet. Real thrivability means no one gets left behind in poverty, exposed unfairly to disaster, or suffers at the hand of corrupt governments. Thus thrivability requires a massive shift both in consciousness and in action: incorporating social justice work, environmental efforts, and process arts. We must include all these efforts and also transcend them through our growing understanding of complex adaptive systems and flow patterns. Fundamentally thrivability is visionary – it is about co-evolving a future we want rather than avoiding a future that terrifies us. It is about acting with enthusiasm toward an opportunity rather than away from catastrophe. It is about becoming a good ancestor.

This absolutely speaks to my soul, speaks to what we are choosing, in inviting ourselves to Envision Life Anew, to structure our lives so that ALL are thriving!!

Life, Divided ≠ Thrive

How do we shift our perspective to focusing on what works, for the benefit of all, and create our social and working structures to support and nurture and allow all of that?

It is clear to me that the way we have generally structured our lives, the way we divide up our one life into multiple fragments: into such segments as work, home, family, friends, me time, etc – is not healthy or a loving way to go about living life. It keeps us from perceiving ourselves, and Being, One Whole Person.

It treats us, and all others as if each one person is less than, and that some people are MORE less-than, than others.
It is crazy and causes UN-health, DIS-ease, and worse.

The big focus most people have seems to be stockpiling and hiding and hoarding what passes in the social consciousness as wealth – translated for most as “money”.

This is an outrageously ridiculous approach to life – why would we even try to structure anything that way??? What about it makes any sense at all?

Investment Advice

Direct your energy into the loving, joyful experiences you are choosing; invest your energy in that which benefits the All, in Love. The returns are the change in the world you’ve been hoping for.
